The 8 ways of learning framework
.This Aboriginal pedagogy framework is expressed as eight interconnected pedagogies involving narrative-driven learning, visualised learning processes, hands-on/reflective techniques, use of symbols/metaphors, land-based learning, indirect/synergistic logic, modelled/scaffolded genre mastery, and connectedness to community. But these can change in different settings.
The above diagram also educates us on the Moiety. On either sides it as the two different tribes which shows that they are connected. The lines that are linking through across the tribes shows the allowance of these tribes being able to marry with one another,

There is so much knowledge that comes from the land and Aboriginal community. The 8 ways diagram is a great prompt to help express this knowledge within a cross- cultural dialogue.

Aboriginal Learning System
We also educate on the Aboriginal Learning System
- Nations, Clan/family knowledge and ceremony - particular systems for each group
- Family roles / positions /duties - e.g relational learnings of specialists knowledge based on kinship pairs like uncle- nephew , mother - daughter
- Stages of learning -e.g initiation levels , series of rituals and learnings
- Song cycles , Dreaming stories and songs/dances
- Land-based learning activities based on custodial responsibilities for STory Places
